Our Story

Cow Island is a small rural community in South Louisiana. It is known for its very friendly loving people, cattle, crawfish and rice farms.

My family has been in Cow Island for over 30 years and can’t think of a better place to live. It is where we raised our wonderful children. I had a long career which had me visiting lots of different places in the world. Of course, I always looked forward to trying new and different foods in those faraway places. That inspired me.

I have always loved to cook and try new recipes. I always loved salsa but could never find one that stood out from the rest, as far as exceptional flavor and quality ingredients.

This is why we decided to start Cow Island Salsa. Our goal was to create the best, most flavorful quality salsa made only with fresh ingredients that exists anywhere. At Cow Island Salsa we believe we have done that and look forward to sharing it with everyone. We hope you love it as much as we do. Thank you.
